Paneer Sweet Corn Sandwich with Tomatoes

A quick yet delicious sandwich recipe. You’ll need paneer (Indian cottage cheese), sweet corn, bread, onions and capsicum to make these delectable sandwiches. I have also added sliced onions and tomatoes in the sandwiches.

Servings: makes 3 sandwiches


  1. Paneer (Indian cottage cheese) – 200 Grams (crumbled)
  2. Bread Slices – 6 (your choice of bread)
  3. Onion – 1 small (finely chopped), 1 medium (thinly sliced)
  4. Capsicum – 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
  5. Sweet Corn – 1/2 cup (boiled)
  6. Tomato – 1 big (thinly sliced)
  7. Ground Black Pepper – 1/2 tsp
  8. Chilli Flakes – 1/2 tsp
  9. Vinegar – 1 tbsp
  10. Green Chutney – as required recipe here
  11. Tomato Ketchup – as required
  12. Oil – 2 tbsp
  13. Butter – for shallow frying the sandwiches
  14. Salt to taste.

PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML.

How to make Paneer Sweet Corn Sandwich:

  1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and capsicum. Saute till onions are translucent
  2. Add paneer, sweet corn, chilli flakes, ground black pepper, vinegar and salt. Mix and cook for 2-3 mins. Keep aside the stuffing
  3. Take a slice of bread. Spread green chutney and ketchup as desired
  4. Spread desired amount of stuffing. Place sliced onions and tomatoes
  5. Now place the other slice of the bread on top of it
  6. Meanwhile heat a non-stick pan or a grill pan or a sandwich maker
  7. Place the sandwich on it and cook from both the sides with butter
  8. Your Paneer Sweet Corn Sandwich is ready
  9. Serve hot with ketchup and green chutney.
