Pasta with Grape Tomatoes

Another variety of pasta from my kitchen. I love the taste and shape of grape tomatoes. Hope you enjoy this one.

Time: Preparation – 5 mins, Cooking – 20 mins, Total – 25 mins

Servings: 2


  1. Pasta – 1 cup (of your choice)
  2. Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)
  3. Grape Tomato – 300 grams (make puree with the half and cut the remaining into halves)
  4. Garlic – 1 clove (finely chopped)
  5. Capsicum – 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
  6. Black Pepper Powder – 1/3 tsp
  7. Oregano – 1/2 tsp
  8. Dry Basil leaves – 1/2 tsp
  9. Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  10. Water – (to boil pasta or as per the instructions on the pack)
  11. Salt to taste

PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML

How to make Pasta with Grape Tomatoes:

  1. Boil water. Add pasta and cook for 8-10 mins. You can also boil it as per the instructions on the pack. Once boiled turn off the flame and keep it in the water. Do not strain yet
  2. Meanwhile heat oil in a pan
  3. Add garlic. Saute till golden brown
  4. Add onions and capsicum. Saute till onions translucent
  5. Add puree tomatoes. Cook for 4-5 mins on medium flame
  6. Now add cut tomatoes, basil leaves, oregano, black pepper powder and salt. Cook for 3-4 mins
  7. Strain the pasta and add it to the pan. Mix and cook for a minute
  8. Turn off the flame
  9. Your Pasta is ready. Serve hot!!!
