Indo-Chinese Potato Bites

Indo-Chinese Potato Bites are a quick-fix starter recipe. You’ll need a pack of your favorite potatoes bites or wedges, onions and capsicum and a few spices.

Time: Preparation – 5 mins, Cooking – 20 mins, Total – 25 mins.

Servings: 3-4

Ingredients:

  1. Potatoes Bites or Wedges – 3 cups (store-bought)
  2. Chopped Onion – 1/2 cup
  3. Chopped Capsicum – 1/2 cup
  4. Soy Sauce – 1/2 tbsp
  5. Vinegar – 1 tsp
  6. Tomato Ketchup – 2 tbsp
  7. Ground Black Pepper – 1/4 tsp
  8. Oil for deep frying the bites or wedges + 1 tbsp.

PS: – 1 Cup = 250 ML.

How to make Indo-Chinese Potato Bites:

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan or a kadai. Fry the bites or wedges as per the instructions on the pack. Keep aside
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add onions and capsicum. Saute till onions are translucent
  3. Add soy sauce, vinegar, tomato ketchup and ground black pepper. Mix well. Your sauce is ready, turn off the flame
  4. Add fried bites or wedges. Mix gently
  5. Your Indo-Chinese Potato Bites are ready. Serve immediately.

Tip: Mix fried bites or wedges in the sauce right before serving, else it’ll become soggy.
