Chocolate Quinoa Bites

Crunchy and chocolaty with the goodness of Quinoa and extremely easy to make with just two ingredients which are in the name itself!

Time: Preparation – 5 mins, Refrigeration – 30 mins, Total – 35 mins.

Servings: 15 bites.

Ingredients:

  1. Puffed Quinoa – 1 cup (homemade or store-bought)
  2. Chocolate Chips of your choice – 1 cup, I have used dark chocolate chips
  3. Sea Salt Flakes to sprinkle on top, totally optional.

PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML.

  1. Line a plate or a baking sheet with parchment paper and keep aside
  2. Add chocolate chips to a microwave safe mixing bowl. Microwave until melted, stirring every 30 secs
  3. Add puffed quinoa and fold it nicely
  4. Form circular shapes from the mix either by using a cookie cutter, an ice cream scoop or a spoon. Place them on the prepared sheet or plate. Sprinkle some sea salt flakes
  5. Freeze for 30 mins and that’s it! Your Chocolate Quinoa Bites are ready. Store in an air-tight container.
