Extremely delicious and high in protein, these tikkis are easy to make as well. Enjoy them with some green chutney.

Servings: makes around 15 medium-size tikkis.
Ingredients:
- Boiled Black Chickpea – 1 cup
- Boiled Soya Granules – 1 cup (you can use chunks as well)
- Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese) – 200 grams (cut into cubes)
- Oats Flour – 1/4 cup
- Onion – 1 medium (roughly chopped)
- Ginger – 1 inch (roughly chopped)
- Garlic – 3-4 cloves
- Coriander Leaves – 1/2 cup
- Green Chilli – 2 (roughly chopped)
- Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil to pan-fry the tikkis
- Chaat Masala to sprinkle on top
- Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp + to drizzle on top
- Sliced Onion for serving
- Green Chutney for serving (recipe here)
- Pomegranate Seeds to sprinkle on top (optional).
PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML.
How to make Black Chickpea Soya Paneer Tikki:
- Take a food processor and add boiled black chickpea, boiled soya granules, paneer, oats flour, onion, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, green chilli, garam masala powder, cumin powder, lemon juice, salt. Blend to make a smooth paste
- Transfer it to bowl, cover and and let it rest for 30 mins
- After 30 mins make medium size tikkis from the mix, keep aside
- Heat a pan and grease it with some oil, place the tikkis and cook from both the sides until crisp and brown
- Transfer to a serving plate, sprinkle some chaat masala powder and drizzle some lemon juice. Your Black Chickpea Soya Paneer Tikkis are ready, serve with sliced onions and green chutney. Enjoy!
