Berry Chocolate Bites

Super easy to make and it’s such a delicious combo, berries and chocolate!!! Recipe has tips which you can follow as per your taste. 

Tips: 

  • It can be prepared with chocolate of your choice – Dark, Semi-Sweet, White, etc.
  • You can use any berry of your choice or even mix if desired – strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, etc
  • Maple syrup can be replaced with honey.

Time: Preparation – 15 mins, Refrigeration – 45 mins, Total – 1 hour.

Servings: makes about 7-8 medium bites.

Ingredients:

  1. Berry of your choice – 1 cup 
  2. Maple Syrup (or Honey) – 1 tbsp
  3. Chia Seeds – 1 tbsp
  4. Chocolate Chips of your choice – 1 cup
  5. Crushed Rose Petals to garnish (optional).

PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML.

How to make Berry Chocolate Bites:

  1. Line a plate or a sheet with parchment paper and keep aside
  2. In a shallow bowl, add the berries and mash them with a fork
  3. Add chia seeds and maple syrup, mix well
  4. Spoon the mixture onto the prepared plate or sheet, keep some space between them
  5. Freeze for 30 mins or until solid
  6. Add chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave until melted, stirring every 30 secs
  7. Dip the frozen berry bites into the melted chocolate and allow the excess chocolate to drip off, and carefully place them back onto the plate or sheet. Sprinkle some crushed rose petals on top if desired 
  8. Freeze again for 15 mins or until the chocolate is set
  9. Your Berry Chocolate Bites are ready. Enjoy!
