Veggie Salad

Another experiment with food. This one just popped up in my mind, why not mix potato & paneer and make a salad. It turned out very well. Enjoy it!!!

Time: Preparation – 10 mins, Cooking – 10 mins, Total – 20 mins

Servings: 3-4


  1. Potato – 2 medium size (finely chopped)
  2. Paneer (Cottage Cheese) – 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
  3. Cucumber – 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
  4. Tomato – 1/3 cup (finely chopped)
  5. Onion – 1/3 cup (finely chopped)
  6. Sweet Corn – 1/2 cup (boiled)
  7. Green Chilli – 1 (finely chopped)
  8. Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp
  9. Black Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp (1/4th for salad and 1/4th while cooking potatoes)
  10. Chat Masala powder – 1/2 tsp
  11. Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
  12. Oil – 1 tsp
  13. Salt to taste

PS: – 1 Cup = 250 ML

How to make Veggie Salad:

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped potatoes
  2. Add 1/4 tsp black pepper powder and salt. Mix well
  3. Cover and cook on low flame for 7-8 mins. Keep sautéing in between
  4. Once potatoes are soft uncover and cook for another 1-2 mins to make potatoes crispy. Turn off the flame. Your potatoes are ready. Keep aside
  5. Take a mixing bowl. Add tomatoes, onions, cucumber, coriander leaves and green chillies. Mix well
  6. Add paneer, potatoes, sweet corn, chat masala, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder, salt and lemon juice. Mix well
  7. Your Veggie Salad is ready. Serve along with main course or as is.
