Dhokla is a popular snack all across India, which is super quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients:
- Gram Flour – 1 cup
- Semolina – 1 tbsp
- Curd – 1/4 cup
- Lemon Juice – 1.5 tsp
- Eno Fruit Salt – 1 tsp
- Ginger-Green Chili Paste – 1 tsp
- Green Chilli – 4 (slit lengthwise)
- Black Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Water – 1 1/4 cup
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste.
PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML
- Grease the pan with a few drops of oil, in which you’ll steam the dhokla and keep aside
- Heat the steamer or the vessel to steam the dhokla
- Take a mixing bowl and add gram flour, semolina, ginger-green chili paste, curd & lemon juice. Mix
- Add 3/4 cup water and salt. Mix well and there should be no lumps
- Now add eno fruit salt and whisk it in one direction for a few seconds, you’ll notice the size will almost double
- Immediately pour it into the pan, and place it in the steamer or the vessel you’re using for steaming. Steam for about 12 mins. Check by inserting a knife, if it comes out clean then it’s cooked else cook for another 2 mins
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and it splutter
- Add cumin seeds and green chillies. Saute for a few seconds
- Add 1/2 cup water and sugar, bring it to boil. Turn off the flame and pour it evenly over the dhokla
- Cut dhokla into desired shape and your Dhokla is ready. Garnish with some coriander leaves and serve.
