Black Pepper Noodles

I simply love noodles and I keep experimenting it. This time I tried black pepper noodles. The flavor of black pepper powder made it tempting yet different. I have used thin spaghetti instead of noodles, you can go for noodles as well.

Time: Preparation – 5 mins, Cooking – 20 mins, Total –  25 mins

Servings: 2-3


  1. Thin Spaghetti or Noodles – 200 grams (boil as per instructions on the pack)
  2. Onion – 1 large (julienned)
  3. Capsicum – 1 large (julienned)
  4. Cabbage – 2 cups (shredded)
  5. Black Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
  6. Vinegar – 2 tbsp
  7. Oil – 3 -4 tbsp (for cooking)
  8. Salt to taste

PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML

How to make Black Pepper Noodles:

  1. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai. Add onions
  2. Keep flame on medium-high. Saute for 1-2 mins
  3. Add capsicum and cabbage. Cook for 5-6 mins on medium-high flame. Do not cook the vegetables completely, they should a little crunchy
  4. Add vinegar, black pepper powder and salt. Mix
  5. Add boiled noodles. Mix well and cook for a minute
  6. Your Black Pepper Noodles are ready. Serve hot!!!
