Aloo Paneer Bhurji

The flavors of paneer (Indian cottage cheese) and potato blend really well and makes this recipe appetizing.

  1. Paneer (Indian cottage cheese) – 150 grams (crumbled)
  2. Boiled Potato – 2 medium (peeled and cut into cubes)
  3. Ginger – 1/2 inch (finely chopped)
  4. Green Chilli – 2 (finely chopped)
  5. Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
  6. Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
  7. Red Chilli Powder – 1/4 tsp
  8. Chana Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
  9. Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
  10. Dry Mango Powder – 1/4 tsp
  11. Garam Masala Powder – 1/4 tsp
  12. Oil or Ghee – 2 tbsp
  13. Coriander Leaves for garnishing
  14. Salt to taste.

How to make Aloo Paneer Bhurji:

  1. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai. Add cumin seeds and let it splutter
  2. Add ginger and green chilli, saute until aromatic
  3. Add potatoes, coriander powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and chana masala powder. Mix and saute on a medium flame for 7-8 mins
  4. Add paneer and salt. Mix and cook for 2-3 mins
  5. Add dry mango powder, garam masala powder and coriander leaves. Mix and cook for about a min. Your Aloo Paneer Bhurji is ready.
