Paneer Bhurji

One of the easiest yet delicious recipe of paneer (Indian cottage cheese), Paneer Bhurji. It is basically crumbled paneer cooked with onions, tomatoes and a few spices.

  1. Paneer (Indian cottage cheese) – 200 grams (crumbled)
  2. Onion – 1 small (finely chopped)
  3. Tomato – 1 medium-large (finely chopped)
  4. Green Chilli – 2 (finely chopped)
  5. Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
  6. Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
  7. Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
  8. Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
  9. Coriander Leaves for garnishing
  10. Ghee – 2 tbsp
  11. Salt to taste.

How to make Paneer Bhurji:

  1. Heat ghee in a pan or a kadai. Add cumin seeds and let it splutter
  2. Add onions and green chillies, saute till onions are light golden brown
  3. Add tomatoes, red chilli powder and coriander powder. Mix and cook until oil separates
  4. Add paneer, garam masala powder and salt. Mix and cook for 3-4 mins
  5. Add coriander leaves and mix. Your Paneer Bhurji is ready!!!
