Gulab Jamun… the classic Indian dessert served with Kesar Mousse, trust me the combination is heavenly!!! You can use homemade or store-bought gulab jamuns for this recipe. Mousse is effortless to make. Do try!!!

Ingredients:
- Gulab Jamun – 6 (1.5 piece per cup) (homemade or store-bought)
- Chilled Heavy Whipping Cream – 1 cup
- Powdered Sugar – 5 tbsp
- Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Saffron Threads – 10
- Warm Milk – 2 tbsp
- Agar Agar Powder – 1 tsp (optional, for more stabilised mousse)
- Crushed Pistachios for garnishing.
PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML.
How to make Gulab Jamun Kesar Mousse Cups:
- In a small bowl dissolve saffron threads in warm milk, keep aside
- Take gulab jamuns, cut 2 pieces into halves and remaining four pieces into fourths. You will get 4 big pieces and 16 small pieces. Keep aside
- Take a mixing bowl and add cream. Using a hand-mixer or wired whisk, whip until it thickens slightly
- Add powdered sugar, agar agar powder, cardamom powder and saffron milk
- Continue whipping until you get a stiff peak. Your Kesar Mousse is ready
- Take a dessert cup and place 4 small pieces at the bottom of the cup, top it with Kesar Mousse, place once big piece on the top and finally sprinkle some crushed pistachios. Similarly do the rest. Your Gulab Jamun Kesar Mousse Cups are ready!!!
