Buttermilk or Chaas is a summer drink. Have it with lunch or enjoy it as a post lunch drink. It helps in preventing bloating. To prepare it you’ll need plain yogurt, roasted cumin powder and salt. You can also add dried mint leaves to it.
Time: Preparation – 5 mins, Total – 5 mins.
- Curd (Dahi or Plain Yogurt) – 1/2 cup
- Roasted Cumin – 1/4 tsp
- Black Salt or Regular Salt as required
- Water – 2 cups.
PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML.
- Take a blender. Add curd, black salt and roasted cumin. Pulse it 2-3 times
- Add water and blend for a few seconds. Your Buttermilk is ready.
