Spinach is super nutritious and when it’s in a soup, we relish it even more. To make this soup we need spinach, tomatoes, onions and a little garlic.
Tip: You can switch gram flour with corn flour (1 tsp) or wheat flour (2 tbsp).

Time: Preparation – 5 mins, Cooking – 15 mins, Total – 20 mins.
Servings: 2
Ingredients:
- Spinach – around 200 grams
- Onion – 1 small (diced)
- Tomato – 2 small (diced)
- Garlic – 2 clove (diced)
- Gram Flour – 2 tbsp
- Ground Black Pepper – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Water – 1 cup
- Cream to drizzle on top (optional)
- Salt to taste.
PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML.
How to make Spinach Soup:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic and onions. Saute until onions are translucent
- Add gram flour and saute until aromatic
- Add tomatoes and saute until tomatoes are soft
- Add spinach and cook until spinach is soft
- Turn off the flame and let it cool down. Add it to a blender and blend to a smooth creamy puree
- Transfer it to a saucepan. Add ground black pepper, cumin powder, salt and water. Mix and bring it to boil, simmer for about 5 mins
- Your Spinach Soup is ready. Serve hot and top it with some cream or ground pepper, enjoy!


Spinach is my all time favorite ingredient… I tried many dishes with spinach in it, never tried soups..Love to try this.
