Tomato Cucumber Sandwich

I would say the easiest sandwich of all. Healthy and tasty.

Time: Preparation – 15 mins, Cooking – 5 mins, Total – 20 mins

Servings: 2 (will make 2 sandwiches)


  1. Whole Wheat Bread – 4 slices (you can use any other bread as well)
  2. Cucumber – 1 small (peeled and thinly sliced)
  3. Tomato – 1 medium (thinly sliced)
  4. Black Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
  5. Chat Masala Powder – 1/4 tsp
  6. Green Chutney – 2 tbsp (recipe)
  7. Butter or Oil – to cook

How to make Tomato Cucumber Sandwich:

  1. Place a slice of bread. Spread 1 tbsp of green chutney
  2. Place slices of tomatoes and cucumbers as required
  3. Sprinkle black pepper powder and chat masala powder
  4. Place the other slice on top on it
  5. Heat a sandwich maker (you can cook on a non-stick pan as well)
  6. Add a little butter and place the sandwich
  7. Spread a little butter on top as well. Cook till golden brown from both the sides
  8. Serve with ketchup and enjoy.
