Paneer Aloo Tikki

Paneer Aloo Tikkis are delicious and super quick snack to make. To prepare these you’ll need paneer (Indian cottage cheese), potatoes, bread crumbs and a few spices.

Time: Preparation – 10 mins, Cooking – 20 mins, Total – 30 mins.

Servings: 3-4


  1. Boiled Potatoes – 2 medium (mashed)
  2. Paneer (Indian cottage cheese) – 100 grams (grated)
  3. Bread Crumbs – 1/2 cup
  4. Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  5. Green Chilli – 1 (finely chopped)
  6. Ground Black Pepper – 1/2 tsp
  7. Chaat Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
  8. Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
  9. Oil to pan fry the tikkis
  10. Salt to taste.

PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML.

  1. Take a mixing bowl and add all the ingredients except oil. Mix to make a smooth paste
  2. Now make desired size round flat tikkis or cutlets from the paste. Keep aside
  3. Heat a non-stick pan. Pour a few drops of oil and place the tikkis. Cook on medium flame until crisp, then flip the tikkis. Similarly cook the other side
  4. Your Paneer Aloo Tikkis are ready. Serve hot with your favorite dip or Mint-Coriander Chutney.
