Paneer Aloo Tikki

This time I experimented aloo (potatoes) with paneer (cottage cheese). Together they tasted amazing in the form of tikkis or cutlets. It is an easy recipe. Hope you enjoy it.

Time: Preparation – 10 mins, Cooking – 20 mins, Total – 30 mins

Servings: 3-4


  1. Potatoes – 2 medium (boiled)
  2. Paneer (cottage cheese) – 100 grams (grated)
  3. Bread Crumbs – 1/2 cup
  4. Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  5. Green Chilli – 1 (finely chopped)
  6. Black Pepper Powder – 1/3 tsp
  7. Chat Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
  8. Oil – to shallow fry the tikkis
  9. Salt to taste

PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML

  1. Take a bowl. Add potatoes and paneer. Mix
  2. Add coriander leaves, green chillies, black pepper powder, chat masala powder, bread crumbs and salt. Mix well to make a paste
  3. Take 1 1/2 tbsp of the paste. Make a round flat tikki or cutlet. Similarly make the rest and keep aside
  4. Heat a non-stick pan or tawa. Pour a few drops of oil
  5. Place the tikkis and cook on medium flame till they are golden brown
  6. Flip the tikki and cook in the similar way from the other side
  7. Your Paneer Aloo Tikkis are ready
  8. Serve hot with Green Chutney and onions.
