Paneer and Sweet Corn Sandwich

Paneer and Sweet Corn make a marvellous combination. This recipe is quite simple. Hope you enjoy it.

Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  1. Paneer (Cottage Cheese) – 1/2 cup (grated)
  2. Sweet Corn – 1/2 cup (boiled)
  3. Bread – 4 slices
  4. Onion – 1 small (finely chopped)
  5. Capsicum – 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
  6. Black Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  7. Green Chutney – 2 tsp recipe here
  8. Tomato Ketchup – 2 tsp
  9. Oil and butter for cooking
  10. Salt to taste.

How to make Paneer and Sweet Corn Sandwich:

  1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan
  2. Add chopped onions and capsicum. Saute till onions are translucent
  3. Add grated paneer and corn. Mix well
  4. Add black pepper powder and salt. Mix well
  5. Remove from the heat and keep aside the stuffing
  6. Take a slice a bread. Spread 1 tsp green chutney and 1 tsp ketchup
  7. Spread 2-3 tbsp of stuffing (depending on the size of the bread)
  8. Now place the other slice of the bread on top of it
  9. Meanwhile heat a non-stick pan or a grill pan or a sandwich maker (I used the non-stick pan)
  10. Place the sandwich on it and cook from both the sides with butter till it’s crisp and brown
  11. Your Paneer and Sweet Corn Sandwich is ready. Serve hot!!!
