Paneer and Sweet Corn Sandwich

Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese) and Sweet Corn make a marvellous combination. This recipe is quite simple. Hope you enjoy it.

Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  1. Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese) – 1/2 cup (crumbled)
  2. Sweet Corn – 1/2 cup (boiled)
  3. Bread – 4 slices
  4. Onion – 1 small (finely chopped)
  5. Capsicum – 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
  6. Ground Black Pepper – 1/2 tsp
  7. Green Chutney – as required recipe here
  8. Tomato Ketchup – as required
  9. Oil and butter – for shallow frying sandwiches
  10. Salt to taste.

PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML.

How to make Paneer and Sweet Corn Sandwich:

  1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and capsicum. Saute till onions are translucent
  2. Add crumbled paneer and corn. Mix
  3. Add ground black pepper and salt. Mix well and keep aside the stuffing
  4. Take a slice of bread. Spread desired amount of green chutney and ketchup
  5. Spread desired amount of stuffing and place the other slice on top of it
  6. Meanwhile heat a non-stick pan or a grill pan or a sandwich maker
  7. Place the sandwich on it and cook from both the sides with butter till it’s crisp and brown
  8. Your Paneer and Sweet Corn Sandwich is ready. Serve hot!!!
