Macaroni (Pressure Cooker Style)

I generally prepare this when I have no cooking mood or I want to cook something quickly. Pasta can be explored in so many different ways. I keep doing my own kind of experiments with it. Hope you like it!!!

Time: Preparation – 10 mins, Cooking –  20 mins, Total – 30 mins

Servings: 1-2


  1. Pasta – 1 cup
  2. Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)
  3. Capsicum – 1/3 cup (finely chopped)
  4. Tomato – 1 medium (finely chopped)
  5. Black Pepper Powder – 1/3 tsp
  6. Oil – 2 tbsp
  7. Water – 1 cup
  8. Salt to taste.

PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML

How to Macaroni in Pressure Cooker:

  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add chopped onions. Saute
  2. Add capsicum. Saute till onions are translucent
  3. Add tomatoes. Cook till soft
  4. Add black pepper powder and salt. Mix
  5. Add pasta and water. Mix well
  6. Close the lid and turn the flame to medium-high. Let 2-3 whistle blow
  7. Turn off the flame and do not release the pressure
  8. Open the lid and stir a little
  9. Your Macaroni is ready. Serve Hot!!!
