Pressure Cooker style Macaroni

This is another version of Indian Macaroni pasta which is cooked in a pressure cooker, which makes it a quick-fix meal.

Time: Preparation – 5 mins, Cooking –  15 mins, Total – 20 mins.

Servings: 2


  1. Macaroni – 1.5 cups
  2. Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)
  3. Tomato – 1 large (finely chopped)
  4. Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
  5. Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
  6. Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
  7. Oil – 2 tbsp
  8. Water – 1 cup
  9. Salt to taste.

PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML.

How to in Pressure Cooker style Macaroni:

  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add onions and saute till translucent
  2. Add tomatoes, red chilli powder and coriander powder. Mix and cook till oil starts to separate
  3. Add macaroni, garam masala powder, salt and water. Mix
  4. Close the lid and turn the flame to medium-high. Let 2-3 whistle blow and turn off the flame
  5. Once pressure settles down open the lid and stir a little
  6. Your Pressure Cooker style Macaroni is ready. Serve Hot!!!
