Indian Macaroni

Indian Macaroni is the Indian version of pasta. We make this delicious recipe with onions, tomatoes, bell peppers and a few spices.

Time: Preparation – 10 mins, Cooking – 15 mins, Total – 25 mins.

Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  1. Macaroni Pasta – 2 cups
  2. Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)
  3. Tomatoes – 1 large (finely chopped)
  4. Capsicum – 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
  5. Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
  6. Chaat Masala Powder – 1 tsp
  7. Ground Pepper – 1/4 tsp
  8. Tomato Ketchup – 1 tbsp (optional)
  9. Coriander Leaves for garnishing
  10. Oil – 2 tbsp
  11. Water to boil pasta
  12. Salt to taste.

PS: 1 cup = 250 ML.

How to make Indian Macaroni:

  1. Cook pasta as per the instructions on the pack. Keep aside
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let it splutter
  3. Add onions and capsicum, cook until tender
  4. Add tomatoes, ketchup, chaat masala powder, ground pepper, and salt. Mix and cook until tomatoes are tender
  5. Add cooked pasta and coriander leaves, mix well
  6. Your Indian Macaroni is ready. Serve hot!!!
