Indian Macaroni

Indian Macaroni is the Indian version of pasta. We make this delicious recipe with onions, tomatoes, bell peppers and a few spices.

Time: Preparation – 10 mins, Cooking – 15 mins, Total – 25 mins.

  1. Macaroni Pasta – 1.5 cup
  2. Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)
  3. Tomatoes – 1 large (finely chopped)
  4. Capsicum – 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
  5. Green Chili – 1 (finely chopped)
  6. Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
  7. Red Chili Powder – 1/4 tsp
  8. Ground Black Pepper – 1/4 tsp
  9. Coriander Leaves for garnishing
  10. Oil – 2 tbsp
  11. Water to boil pasta
  12. Salt to taste.

PS: 1 cup = 250 ML.

How to make Indian Macaroni:

  1. Cook pasta as per the instructions on the pack. Keep aside
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add onions, capsicum and green chili. Cook until tender
  3. Add tomatoes, red chili powder, ground black pepper, coriander powder and salt. Mix and cook till oil starts to separate
  4. Add cooked pasta and coriander leaves, mix well
  5. Your Indian Macaroni is ready. Serve hot!!!
