Chilli Garlic Bread

Chilli Cheese Garlic Bread is a flavoursome snack to relish. Green chillies makes it hot and mild taste of onions enhances the flavour on the palate. It’s quite easy to make. Always serve them warm!!!

Time: Preparation – 15 mins, Baking – 11 mins, Total – 26 mins.

Servings: makes around 15 pieces, depending on the size of the loaf.

Ingredients:

  1. French Loaf – 1 
  2. Green Chillies – 2 (chopped)
  3. Onions – 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
  4. Butter – 1/2 cup (softened)
  5. Garlic – 2 cloves (grated or minced)
  6. Dried Basil – 1/2 tsp
  7. Dried Oregano – 1/2 tsp
  8. Crushed Red Chilli – 1/2 tsp
  9. Ground Black Pepper – 1/4 tsp
  10. Shredded Mozzarella Cheese to sprinkle on top.

PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML.

How to make Chilli Garlic Bread:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 400 F or 200 C. Line a large baking sheet with aluminium foil or parchment paper and keep aside
  2. Take the loaf and cut it into pieces of about 1 inch thickness, keep aside
  3. Take a small mixing bowl. Add butter, garlic, dried basil, dried oregano, crushed red chilli and ground black pepper. Mix well and spread it evenly over each piece. Top it with green chillies, onions and generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese
  4. Bake for 11 mins or until the edges start to turn slightly golden brown
  5. Chilli Garlic Bread is ready. Sprinkle some herbs and enjoy!!!
