This is an easy recipe for paneer makhani and calls for least ingredients. Enjoy it with sama rice, kuttu cheela or poori.

Ingredients:
- Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese) – 200 grams (cut into cubes)
- Tomato – 3 large (roughly chopped)
- Green Chilli – 2 (roughly chopped)
- Ginger – 1/2 inch (roughly chopped)
- Cashew – 4
- Green Cardamom – 2
- Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Black Peppercorns – 5-6
- Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tsp (optional)
- Ground Black Pepper – 1/4 tsp
- Ghee (Clarified Butter) – 2 tbsp
- Cream – 2-3 tbsp
- Coriander Leaves for garnishing
- Salt to taste.
How to make Saatvik Paneer Makhani:
- Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan. Add green cardamom, black peppercorns and cumin seeds. Saute until fragrant
- Add cashew, ginger, green chilli and tomatoes, and saute until soft. Turn off the flame and let it cool down
- Add it to a blending jar and blend to a smooth paste. Strain it through a strainer by pressing it nicely to get the maximum paste out of it, keep aside
- Heat remaining 1 tbsp ghee in a pan. Add the paste, coriander powder, cumin powder and ground black pepper. Mix and cook until ghee starts to separate
- Add paneer, cream and salt. Mix and cook for 4-5 mins
- Turn off the flame and add coriander leaves, mix. Your Saatvik Paneer Makhani is ready. Enjoy with Kuttu Cheela, kuttu poori or sama rice.
