Savory Waffles are favorite in the house, and I recently tried this kuttu waffle recipe which turned out absolutely delicious and perfect to enjoy during the fasting days or navratri vrat if I may say. Happy Fasting all!!!

Servings: makes 7-8 mini waffles.
Ingredients:
- Kuttu Atta (Buckwheat Flour) – 1/2 cup
- Boiled Potato – 2 medium-large (grated)
- Paneer – 1/2 cup (crumbled)
- Curd (Plain Yogurt) – 2 tbsp
- Roasted Peanuts – 2 tbsp (crushed)
- Green Chili – 2 (finely chopped)
- Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Ground Black Pepper – 1/4 tsp
- Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander Seeds – 1/2 tsp (optional)
- Water – 1/4 to 1/3 cup
- Salt to taste
- Ghee or Oil to cook waffles.
PS: 1 Cup = 250 ml.
How to make Kuttu Waffles:
- Take a mixing bowl and add all the ingredients except water and ghee/oil. Mix well
- Now add water in portions to make a thick batter
- Heat a waffle maker, grease it with ghee or oil, pour about 2 tbsp batter, close and cook until crisp and golden brown
- Your Kuttu Waffles are ready, similarly prepare the rest. Enjoy with chutney or curd.
