Peppers and Onions Pesto Pasta

Another recipe for pesto sauce pasta. This time I added bell pepper and onions to it. Bell pepper enhanced the flavor and it was completely tasty.

Also try: Pasta with Pesto Sauce or Pesto Pasta with Grape Tomatoes.

How to make Peppers and Onions Pesto Pasta:

  1. Cook pasta as per instructions on pack
  2. Take a small bowl. Add pesto sauce and 2 tbsp of pasta cooking water. Mix well. This will help in diluting the sauce. Keep aside
  3. While pasta is cooking, heat a pan and add oil.
  4. Add onions. Saute till translucent
  5. Add red bell peppers. Cook till tender
  6. Add red chilli flakes, ground black pepper and salt. Saute
  7. Add diluted pesto sauce. Mix
  8. Strain pasta and add it to the pan. Mix till pasta is coated in the sauce. You can also add more pesto sauce at this step if desired
  9. Your Peppers and Onions Pesto Pasta is ready.
