Paneer Pakora Waffles

Happy New Year People!!! Try this new fusion recipe… Paneer Pakora Waffles. These are healthy, soft and totally delicious. Enjoy them in breakfast, snack or even in a meal.

Cuisine: Indian

Time: Preparation – 10 mins, Cooking – 20 mins, Total – 30 mins.

Servings: makes 6-7 mini waffles.

Ingredients:

  1. Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese) – 250 grams
  2. Gram Flour – 1 cup
  3. Green Chili – 1-2 (finely chopped)
  4. Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  5. Carom Seeds (Ajwain) – 1/4 tsp
  6. Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
  7. Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
  8. Red Chili Powder – 1/2 tsp
  9. Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
  10. Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
  11. Water – about 200 ml
  12. Oil to cook waffles
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Green Chutney as needed (recipe here)
  15. Ketchup as needed.

PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML.

How to make Paneer Pakora Waffles:

  1. Take a mixing bowl. Add gram flour, coriander powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, carom seeds and salt. Mix with a wired whisk or a spoon and add water in portions to make a medium consistency batter
  2. Add green chilies and coriander leaves, mix and keep aside for 5 mins
  3. Heat the waffle maker, grease it, pour about 2 tbsp of batter, place the paneer slice, again pour about 2 tbsp batter to cover the paneer. Close and cook until golden brown. Your Paneer Pakora Waffle is ready. Enjoy! with chutney or ketchup!!
