Healthy, delicious and filling!!! Waffles are made with oats flour, gram flour and a few spices. Topped with spicy samosa style potatoes, chutneys and some onions. The flavors simply fill your palate with happiness. These waffles can also be enjoyed as is with chutneys.

Ingredients:
- For Samosa Aloo:
- Mashed Boiled Potatoes – 2 small-medium
- Grated Ginger – 1/2 tsp
- Finely Chopped Green Chili – 1
- Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Fennel Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Dry Mango Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- For Waffle Batter:
- Oats Flour – 3/4 cup
- Gram Flour – 1/4 cup
- Flax Seeds – 2 tbsp
- Baking Powder – 1 tsp
- Curd (Plain Yogurt) – 1/4 cup
- Coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Red Chili Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Oil – 2 tbsp + to cook waffles
- Finley Chopped Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp
- Water – 3/4 cup to 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Tamarind Chutney for topping (follow recipe here)
- Green Chutney for topping (follow recipe here)
- Finely chopped onions for topping (optional).
PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML.
How to make Savoury Waffles with Samosa Aloo:
- Take a mixing bowl and add oats flour, gram flour, flax seeds, baking powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, cumin powder & salt. Mix
- Add oil, curd and 1/2 cup water, mix well and let it rest for 10 mins. Oats will absorb the moisture
- Add chopped coriander leaves and another 1/4 cup water or as needed to get a flowing batter, mix and let it rest rest again for 10 mins
- Meanwhile heat 1 tsp oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, let it splutter
- Add coriander seeds and fennel seeds, saute for a few seconds
- Add ginger and green chillies, saute till aromatic
- Add mashed boiled potatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix and cook for about 5 mins, stirring occasionally
- Add garam masala powder, dry mango powder and coriander leaves. Mix well and turn off the flame. Your Samosa Aloo is ready
- Heat the waffle maker, grease it and pour the batter. Cook until golden brown, your waffle is ready. Similarly do the rest
- Take a serving plate, place the waffle and top it with samosa aloo, chutneys & some onions. Your Savoury Waffle with Samosa Aloo is ready.
