Paneer Pakora Waffles

Happy New Year People!!! Try this new fusion recipe… Paneer Pakora Waffles. These are healthy, soft and totally delicious. Enjoy them in breakfast, snack or even in a meal.

Time: Preparation – 15 mins, Cooking – 20 mins, Total – 35 mins.

Servings: makes 6-7 mini waffles.

Ingredients:

  1. Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese) – 250 grams
  2. Gram Flour – 1 cup
  3. Curd (Yogurt) – 3 tbsp
  4. Green Chilli – 1-2 (finely chopped)
  5. Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  6. Carom Seeds (Ajwain) – 1/4 tsp
  7. Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
  8. Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
  9. Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
  10. Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
  11. Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
  12. Water – 150-200 ml
  13. Oil to cook waffles
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Green Chutney as needed (recipe here)
  16. Ketchup as needed.

PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML.

How to make Paneer Pakora Waffles:

  1. Take a mixing bowl. Add gram flour, curd, coriander powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, carom seeds and salt. Mix with a wired whisk or a spoon and add water in portions to make a medium consistency batter
  2. Add green chillies and coriander leaves, mix and keep aside for 10 mins
  3. Heat a mini waffle maker, grease it, pour about 1.5 tbsp of batter, place the paneer slice, again pour about 1.5 tbsp batter to cover the paneer. Close and cook until golden brown. Your Paneer Pakora Waffle is ready. Enjoy! with chutney or ketchup!!
