Papdi Chaat with Whole Wheat Papdis

I said in the my previous post that next recipe will be Papdi Chaat, so here I share the recipe which is definitely a bit healthy as it has Whole Wheat Papdis. Papdi Chaat is another famous Indian street food. The recipe is easy and quick. Hope you enjoy it.

Time: Preparation –  10 mins, Total – 10 mins

Servings: 2


  1. Whole Wheat Papdi – 16 (you can purchase and use normal papdis as well)
  2. Boiled Potato – 3/4 cup (cut into small cubes)
  3. Boiled Chickpeas (Chole) – 3/4 cup (you add a little salt while boiling)
  4. Sev – 1/2 cup
  5. Yogurt (Curd) – 1/2 cup (lightly beaten, you can a little sugar and salt while beating)
  6. Green Chutney – 1/3 cup (recipe here)
  7. Tamarind Chutney – 1/3 cup (recipe here)
  8. Chaat Masala – to sprinkle on top
  9. Coriander Leaves – to garnish

PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML

  1. Take a plate. Place 8 papdis in each plate (you can crush a few of them)
  2. Top it with yogurt, potatoes and chickpeas
  3. Drizzle green chutney and tamarind chutney
  4. Sprinkle sev and chaat masala
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves
  6. Your Papdi Chaat is ready. Serve Immediately.
