One of the most easiest dessert to prepare for any occasion.

Servings: 3-4
Ingredients:
- Sooji (Semolina or Rava) – 1 cup
- Ghee – 3 tbsp
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Almonds – 5
- Cashews – 5
- Raisins – 12
- Cardamom (Elaichi) – 2
- Water – 4 cups
PS: 1 Cup = 250 ML
How to make Sooji Halwa:
- Heat a pan or a kadai
- Add sooji and ghee. Roast it on medium-low flame. Keep sautéing till ghee starts to separate. Sooji should not turn brown. It’ll take around 6-7 mins
- At the same time add water and sugar in a pan. Bring it to boil
- Also crush the almonds, cashew and cardamom in a mortar-pestle. Remove the cardamom skin. Soak the raisins in warm water for 5 mins
- Once sooji is roasted, add the sugar and water solution to it. Stir well
- Add crushed almonds, cashews and cardamom. Mix well
- Add soaked raisins. Mix well
- Keep sautéing the mix. Water will start absorbing
- Once water is absorbed you will also notice ghee on the sides. Turn off the flame
- Your Sooji Halwa is ready. Serve hot!!!
